Trusted by the best
Leading Czech climbing gyms use ClimbLife to run their competitions and events:
… and dozens of other gyms across Czechia and Slovakia.
Main features and benefits
1. Flexible participant registration
Know exactly how many climbers are coming - before the competition even starts.
- Optional registration: Decide for each competition whether registration is required.
- Payment tracking: See who has paid and motivate climbers to pay early (for example with a reduced entry fee).
- Approval workflow: Stay in full control of who competes. You can require manual approval by an administrator.
2. A live competition in the climber's pocket
Forget paper scorecards. Everything happens in real time, straight from the mobile app.
- Easy logging: Competitors mark their own attempts, tops and zones directly on each route or boulder.
- Live leaderboard: Participants see the current ranking, which boosts competitiveness and drive across the whole field.
- Automatic scoring: The system instantly recalculates points based on the selected competition mode.
3. Tools for administrators and maximum tension
Get the tools that turn your competition into a real show.
- Dark Zone mode: In the closing minutes you can hide results and start a countdown. Build up the atmosphere before the announcement!
- Manual result entry: For climbers without the app you can easily enter results by hand from the admin interface.
- Scheduled publishing: Prepare a competition in advance and set the exact time it becomes visible in the app.
Flexible rules and scoring
The system is designed to adapt to any format - from bouldering to lead climbing.
Zone variability (0 to 4 zones)
You have complete freedom in how you define a route or boulder:
- Top only (0 zones): For simple “all or nothing” competitions.
- Standard formats: 1 to 2 zones + Top.
- Multi-zone system (up to 4 zones): Ideal for very long lead routes or technical boulders where you want to distinguish climbers' performance in detail.
3 unique competition modes
Pick how the system decides the winner:
| Competition mode | How scoring works | Ideal for… | What the climber sees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed points | Each route/boulder has a fixed point value. | Hobby competitions and sessions | Everyone who tops gets the same number of points (e.g. 100 pts). |
| Attempt deduction | Each unsuccessful attempt deducts part of the points. | Technical competitions | Clean style (Flash) is rewarded. A climber who tops on attempt 1 scores more than on attempt 3. |
| Shared points | A route's points are split among the climbers who topped it. | Pro competitions / Open | The fewer climbers top a route, the more valuable it is. Points shift dynamically. |
Versatility
One app for both bouldering and lead competitions.
Zero extra admin
Calculations and ranking run automatically, without errors or manual tallying.
A modern experience for your community

Control over the announcement
You can lock results and publish them only when you are ready on the podium.
